After a nine month hiatus, a few acoustic gigs were organized with Brooke Wilton, Chris Powell, and friends Charlie Price and John Williamson, starting with the 5th anniversary party...

But the hiatus that began with the departure of Dave Kobza in mid 2004 was marred only briefly by the emergence of DNA, in early 2005. Like Nessy, however, DNA quickly plunged her head back into the depths.

Brooke went on to found the short-lived Dia De Los Gatos, which had one live performance at a party for the 18th birthday of his cat Tylyte, who died within a month.

Dwarf Nebula underwent a hiatus that lasted 11 years!
